Oil and gas company extends Smart Engagement into its operations in 22 countries
This was a five-year project to roll out stakeholder engagement, community relations, community development, CSR and sustainable business practices, skills and strategies into the core business of OMV, which employs over 70000 people worldwide. The project resulted in 8 community-based organisations / multi-stakeholder forums set up as pilot projects in 5 countries, which in turn were used as capacity building for all the local teams. The project is now being run internally and is on-going from own resources.
